Friends, Parties & Messaging
Friends, parties, mail, private messages, your profile, referrals and Discord linking.
#Friends

You can turn friend requests off in /settings under Messages. Friends can teleport to you even when your TPA setting is off.
#Parties
Parties work across servers.
/partyopens the party menu./party create,/party invite <player>,/party accept,/party deny,/party leave,/party disbandand/party list./party chat <message>(or/pc) sends a message to just your party.
#Private messages

Private messages work across servers.
Leave someone a message they will see next time they log in.
/mail send <player> <message>/mail read(or just/mail)/mail clear
#Mentions
Type @name to ping a player. /mentions toggles whether you get pinged by mentions.
#Ignoring players
/ignore <player>blocks their private messages, teleport requests and chat./unignore <player>undoes it./ignorelistshows who you are ignoring.
#Your profile
/profile shows your profile. /profile <player> shows someone else's. It has an Overview tab (first joined, last seen, playtime, rank, balance, friends and quick Add Friend and Message buttons) and a Cosmetics tab showing what they have equipped.
#Settings
/settings has four sections:
- Sounds: notification sounds, background music and whether you see other players' cosmetics.
- Messages: private messages, friend requests and trade requests.
- TPA: whether you accept teleport requests.
- Box: your Box settings.
#Referrals
A new player is asked in chat, a few seconds after joining, who referred them. They can type a name or skip.
- The new player gets $1,000 right away.
- The player who invited them gets $500 after the new player reaches 24 hours of playtime.
/referral shows who referred you and your own referral rewards.
#Linking Discord
- In game, run
/discord link(or/link) to get a one-time code. It lasts 10 minutes./discord statusshows whether you are linked. - In the Blockville Discord, run
/verify <code>.
Linking pays a reward, and your Discord roles can pay more as you level up: levels 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 pay $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000.
