The Spawn Fountain

#How it works

The wishing well at spawn rewards players who stay put. Earn a Wishing Coin, drop it in the fountain, and it pays out.

#Earning a Wishing Coin

1. Go within 80 blocks of the fountain in the spawn world.
2. Go AFK (with /afk, or just stand idle).
3. After 10 minutes of staying AFK nearby, you receive a Wishing Coin (a gold nugget).

The timer resets if you stop being AFK or leave the area.

#Limits

• You can hold at most 3 coins at once.
• You can earn up to 12 coins per day (resets at midnight US Eastern).
• Only one account per internet connection can earn coins each day.
• You need a free inventory slot.

#Using a coin

Drop the coin (press Q) so it lands in the fountain water. The coin is bound to you, so nobody else can pick it up, trade it or craft with it.

#Payouts

On average a coin is worth about $190.

Tip Combine it with a long mining session: go AFK at the fountain between trips and you will pick up coins without doing anything.
