FAQ

#Getting started

#How do I join?

Java: play.blockville.org. Bedrock: play.blockville.org with port 19132. See How to join.

#Do I need a Java account to play?

No. Bedrock players can join with a Bedrock account, and Java players with a normal Java account. Both need to accept the server resource pack so custom items, menus and music show up.

#I skipped the tour. Can I take it later?

Yes, run /tour any time. It is a quick flyover of spawn.

Run /boxhome. If you do not have a Box yet it opens the menu again. You can also use /boxcreate on the Box server.

#Where is my stuff? I changed servers and my money looks different.

Nothing is lost. Money, homes, levels and cosmetics are shared across the whole network. If something looks wrong, try /balance, and tell staff with /bug if it still looks off.

#Money

#How do I make money fast?

Claim /daily every day, sell what you farm or mine in /shop, sit AFK at the Spawn Fountain for Wishing Coins, win chat games, and work through your achievements and quests.

#How do I upgrade my Box?

Run /upgrade. See the price list.

#Can I get my money back if I get scammed?

Staff usually cannot restore money you gave away willingly, and loans are at your own risk. Be careful, and read the rules.

#Rules and safety

#I was muted or banned. What now?

Read the punishments page. If you think it was a mistake, appeal through the Discord.

#Someone is breaking the rules. What do I do?

Use /report <player>. See Reporting & Support.

#I found a bug that gives free stuff. Can I use it?

No. Report it right away with /bug. Using exploits is against the rules, and reporting it is the right thing to do.

#Can I use mods?

Mods and clients that give an unfair advantage, such as x-ray, autoclickers, hacked clients or macros, are not allowed. If you are unsure whether a mod is allowed, ask staff before using it.
