Server Rules

The rules everyone on Blockville follows. In game, type /rules.

Following these keeps the server fun for everyone. Not knowing a rule is not an excuse, so please read them. You can read them in game any time with /rules.

#Chat rules

  1. No spamming, character-flooding or excessive caps.
  2. Racism, sexism, hate speech, slurs or discriminatory language is strictly prohibited.
  3. Offensive language, 18+ subjects and inappropriate conversations are prohibited.
  4. Do not talk about sensitive or controversial subjects in public chat.
  5. No harassment, bullying, threats or targeted abuse toward players or staff.
  6. Do not impersonate staff, a player, a bot or an official server account.
  7. No advertising other servers, Discords, websites, social media or services without approval.
  8. Do not promote or encourage others to break the rules. You will be punished for the rule you encourage.
  9. DDoS threats, doxxing threats, blackmail or threats of real-life harm are strictly prohibited.
  10. Do not share personal information about yourself or others.
  11. Do not evade mutes, bans, warnings or other punishments.
  12. No trolling, baiting arguments or intentionally annoying staff.
  13. Respect staff decisions. If you disagree with a punishment, open a ticket or submit an appeal.
  14. Follow all Discord rules, Minecraft rules and Blockville community guidelines.

#Gameplay rules

  1. No mods, hacked clients, x-ray, autoclickers, macros, scripts or third-party software for an unfair advantage.
  2. Do not evade a ban, mute, warning or punishment by using an alternate account.
  3. No scamming. Loans are at your own risk.
  4. No NSFW usernames, skins, item names, signs, books, banners, map art, builds or nicknames.
  5. Do not abuse exploits, bugs, glitches, duplication, economy issues, shop mistakes or unintended mechanics. Report them to staff immediately.
  6. If you are trusted in someone's Box, you must not grief or steal from the owner and must act in good faith.
  7. No alt accounts to farm rewards, bypass cooldowns, boost progression or avoid limits.
  8. No misleading item names, fake trades, renamed items or deceptive tactics in purchases or exchanges.
  9. Follow staff instructions to stop, move, explain something or cooperate with an investigation.
  10. Do not lie to staff, hide evidence, interfere with reports or encourage others to break rules.
  11. You must abide by the Minecraft EULA, the Blockville Store Terms of Service, Discord rules and all server rules.
  12. Use common sense. If something gives an unfair advantage, harms the server or ruins another player's experience, do not do it.

Note Rules are subject to change. Staff can always act on the spirit of a rule, not just the exact wording.
